Responding to Responses (Blog HW #2)

Objective: Respond to two summer reading responses.

Response #1: Lawrence Morace- From Baghdad With Love
     This book sounds really cute. I love puppies, and if I was in a war, and I saw a puppy, I would definitely bring it home. I don't care what the general says, I would smuggle it back. I wonder why you aren't allowed to have a dog on a military plane. They use dogs to help kill enemies too, so why not just bring a stray one home?

Response #2: Perzya Zephyrin- The Earth, my Butt, and Other Big Round Things
     I can TOTALLY relate to the main character, Virginia, but in the opposite way. I am very skinny, too skinny. I barely gain weight at all. All my aunts have got... you know... shabang up there, but I don't. They all grew early, and I'm very late. It's because I have a "fast metabolism." Virginia probably has a slow one. Virginia has a problem losing weight, and I have a problem gaining weight.
